Where is Powys?
The mid-Wales county of Powys brings together the three ancient counties of Montgomeryshire, Radnorshire and Brecknock.Covering some 2000 square miles, it extends from the edge of Snowdonia in the north to the Swansea Valley in the south.
To present the County of Powys to a world audience in a coherent and professional manner. To act as a showcase of the economic, cultural, social and leisure activities and the wide and varied features that characterise the county in as attractive and commercially sensitive manner as to attract sustainable income, investment and tourism.
Additionally once arriving at that site there will be comprehensive links to other interests, communities and activities in the County. Search facilities within the overarching POWYS Web are equally important to ensure that the browsing party is helped to find other elements of interest within Powys.
As part of the project it is considered very important that small and medium sized enterprises and community organisations are available through e-mail so that enquiries from Web pages can be dealt with.
